CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) - Patchy dense fog in our eastern sections and daybreak readings in the chilly 40s for most locations across the WBTV viewing area means you'll need a jacket and perhaps a little extra time to get to school or work this morning.
The fog will burn off fairly quickly, perhaps even before the sun comes up.
Besides the fog, Friday and Saturday look quite fall-like with highs in the mid 60s and plenty of sun to go around.
This is good news for Football Friday night and Trick-Or-Treaters for Halloween Saturday evening. Clouds move back in for Saturday night, which will hold temps in the 50s overnight.
Beyond Saturday, the dry break doesn't last for long. More rain develops during the day Sunday and lingers into at least the first part of Monday.
This means Monday Night Football with the Panthers has a little uncertainty, but there is a decent chance the rain will move out by kick-off.
