Halloween warning

Hi everyone, this is Paul Cameron at my desk in the WBTV Newsroom.

Breaking—the 10-year old boy hit by a car at his school bus stop in Chester, SC died tonight.  Police are still looking for the hit-and-run driver.

Who knew a runaway blimp could cause such havoc?  It was the internet sensation today when a military reconnaissance blimp broke its long tether and drifted for hours from Maryland into Pennsylvania, dragging the tether across power lines causing tens of thousands of outages.

A Halloween warning for all police--federal investigators tell CBS News they are aware of an anarchist group planning a so-called Halloween revolt. Members are being encouraged to dress up in costume, cause a disturbance, and ambush police who come to help.

Sad story in Cornelius—a woman arrested for animal cruelty after 14 kittens were found dead stuffed in a suitcase near a dumpster.  Authorities tell us she was overwhelmed by unplanned litters so she killed the animals.

In my weekly Crime Stoppers report, I’m showing exclusive video of a callous crime.  A manager for a McDonald’s was walking his cash deposits into the bank when a gunman run up, shot him in the stomach.  He grabbed the bag of money and jumped in a car to make his getaway.  It was clearly planned with prior knowledge.  Watch and decide if this was an inside job.
