Two injured in school bus involved in crash in Charlotte

At least two people are being treated for injuries after a school bus was involved in a crash in Charlotte Monday afternoon.

According to Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools, the crash involved bus 1407, which serves Rocky River High School. It happened along Albemarle Road near Interstate 485, in Mint Hill.

WBTV has learned that six students were on the bus when the crash occured, but officials say no students were injured.

MEDIC officials say two people were injured in the crash. One person was treated at the scene, a second person needed to be transported to the hospital for further treatment.
