Fantasy Football ordered shut down

Hi everyone, this is Paul Cameron at my desk in the WBTV Newsroom.

Hope you’ll stay with us after the NFL game—those Fantasy Football sites were told tonight to shut down.  In just the past few hours-- the state of Nevada ordered sites like DraftKings and FanDuel to close, saying they can't operate in the state without a gambling license

A little boy found a loaded gun in the pocket behind the passenger seat of a car.  He pulled the trigger and the bullet went through the driver’s seat, striking his grandmother in the back.  She is recovering.  But tonight, the owner of that .357 handgun, the little boy’s great aunt, was charged with a misdemeanor and has bonded out of jail.

If you smell barbecue in the air, it’s probably the folks at Mallard Creek Church smoking meat for next week’s long-running annual event that pairs politics and pork.

Please join Molly Grantham, Eric Thomas, Delano Little and me for WBTV News at 11:00 tonight!
