Bounce Scholar of the Week: Kimeron Berry

Bounce Scholar of the Week

CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) - Each week during the school year, Project L.I.F.T. selects a student who is excelling not only inside the classroom, but outside as well. The student - along with their favorite teacher - is featured every Wednesday on WBTV News on Bounce at 8 p.m. The program operates within the Charlotte-Mecklenburg School System.

This week's scholar is Kimeron Berry, an 8th grader at Bruns Academy.

His Bio: I am 14 years old and  attend Bruns Academy. I am currently in the 8th Grade. I plan on attending North Carolina A&T University and hope to play basketball there. I have one older brother and try to be a role model to others.  What makes me a role model is wanting to do well in school, I'm fresh (stylish) and want to do and be better in Life. After graduating from High School, I'd like to go to North Carolina A&T University or Oregon in hopes of starting my own business in Sports Management. Things that I love about myself, is that I carry myself very well, I respect myself and value my education.

List of hobbies: Basketball, football, writing, and reading action books

Favorite Subject/Book: Math and reading. My favorite book is Dairy of a Wimpy Kid (all of them)
