A cold front has slipped through the WBTV area and our winds have shifted to the northeast.
That will bring increased cloud cover, a small shower chance and cooler temperatures for the next couple of days.
With the above in mind, afternoon readings today will be 10 to 15° cooler than they were over the weekend, as we top out in the mid to upper 70s around Charlotte. There is also a 40% rain this afternoon.
Rain chances remain decent for tonight with low temperatures close to 60° overnight.
Tuesday will be rather cloudy and about the same temperature-wise, but with just a 20% chance for showers.
Wednesday will bring a return of sunny and dry weather with afternoon readings close to 80°.
Thursday and Friday will be in the mid to upper 70s with a small rain chance returning by Friday. There is an increasingly better chance by next weekend, with highs remaining in the 70s.
