ROCK HILL, S.C. (WBTV) - A Rock Hill juvenile is facing assault charges after investigators say he groped a girl on the school bus earlier this week.
According to a Rock Hill police report, a 17-year-old female student from Northwestern High School called police and said she was "inappropriately touched" while on the school bus Monday afternoon.
She says the 14-year-old juvenile, whose name has not been released, touched her back and hair. She told him several times not to touch her, according to the report, but he continued to touch her.
That's when the girl says he reached around and touched her left breast over her clothes.
The girl reported the incident to the school and the police and said she wanted to press charges.
Police looked at the surveillance video from the school bus and says the boy can be "clearly seen" touching the girl's breast.
He was charged as a juvenile with assault and battery and later released to his parent.
