CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) -

A 3-month-old boy who was reported missing Thursday night, has been found safe and reunited with his mother, officials say.

Officers responded to a domestic disturbance in the 6500 block of Heatherbrook Avenue in Charlotte, where a woman told police her son was taken from the home by his father, Donte Hill Sr.

She told police that Hill took their son, Donte Hill Jr., when he left the home following an argument around 10 p.m.

The mother said the baby was poorly clothed and she was worried for his welfare.

Hill has an outstanding warrant for felony probation violation. Officers are still looking for him.

Anyone with information is asked to call 911 immediately.
