JUST IN: Officers find body during search for missing man in east Charlotte - LIVE updates on WBTV

CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) -

Moments ago, Charlotte-Mecklenburg police said they located a body under a home in east Charlotte. This comes during an intense search for evidence in the investigation into what happened to a missing man. Investigators think foul play may have been involved.

Richard Allen Hable, 47, was reported missing on the morning of August 20. The reporting person told officers Hable had not been seen since since May.

The person told police Hable was last seen at his home on the 7500 block of Bondhaven Drive, which is near Albemarle Road. The body found under the home is being sent to the Medical Examiner's Office who will confirm the person's identity.

During the investigation, detectives said they developed information that leads them to believe foul play was involved in Hable's disappearance. They added that they are concerned for his well being. Ashton Pellom will have more information in a LIVE report.

A shooting investigation is underway right now in Rowan County where one person was killed and several others injured. Police say the situation is domestic related.
