(WBTV) -

She said YES! MMA fighter Ronda Rousey has accepted the invitation of a North Carolina Marine to attend his Marine Corps Ball later this year.

The video went viral after he posted it on Facebook a week and a half ago.

When WBTV spoke with Marine Jarrod Haschert last week, the video had already been viewed more than 2 million times. Now, it's reached nearly 5 million views.

"You are my celebrity crush, like, I love everything you do and I think you are a phenomenal person," he said in the video. "Which is why it would be my honor to take you to the Marine Corps Ball."

Good new for Haschert, his dreams have come true.

TMZ Sports posted a video Tuesday morning with Rousey, saying 'yes' to his invitation.

Ronda was out in Los Angeles, with friends, when she was asked about the video. She said she wasn't just impressed with Haschert's video, but she thinks he's cute, too.

"I saw some screenshots of it before, but I was like 'oh well, I'm in camp, so I can't go anyways' but then the fight got moved, so I actually can go," Rousey said in the video.

The problem? She didn't know how to contact Jarrod.

Haschert will surely find a way to make himself available to be contacted, but Rousey says he better be a gentleman.

"I'm not a first date kind of a girl," Rousey said.

Rousey joked, in the video, that Haschert needs to find dates for her three friends.

Haschert's mother, Caroline, is beyond happy about the video from Ronda.

"He is so excited," she told WBTV via email Tuesday. "[I] wish I could have seen his face. Our whole family is so excited for him. It's just amazing."

And don't think Caroline missed where Ronda called Jarrod cute! In fact, it was the first thing she said to WBTV.

He is originally from Stratford, New Jersey, but has been based at Camp Lejeune for nearly three years.

"Ronda is by far the coolest chick I've ever seen," Haschert told WBTV last week. "I've been watching her fights since I was in high school and every fight is more exciting than the last. As I said in the video she is absolutely my 'celebrity crush' and I just kept thinking, it's worth a try."

Haschert says he wasn't originally going to do the video, but his roommate and best friend convinced him that anything could happen.

Let's hope that Haschert is buying his roommate a nice "thank you" gift

**NOTE: WBTV is working with Haschert and officials at Camp Lejeune to effort a follow-up interview with the Marine about his experience.**
