Gerald Henderson continues to give back to Charlotte community

CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) - Even though Gerald Henderson won't be playing for the Charlotte Hornets next season (he's currently playing for the Portland Trail Blazers), he says it's still the place he will call home and a community he wants to give back to.

Aside from basketball, two things he loves are golf and kids, which led him to team up with A Child's Place to host a charity golf tournament to raise money for underprivileged kids.

Last year's tournament raised over $70,000 for the organization, and Henderson hopes to raise even more this year.
