Thirsty lawns and gardens will get a much-needed drink over the next 36 hours, as a cold front crosses the WBTV viewing area.
There's at least a 50-50% chance of rain and storms this afternoon, and again on Tuesday, and the rain risk remains with us tonight. Before any rain moves in, afternoon readings will jump into the upper 80s both days, which is pretty close to average for mid-August.
After the front moves through, the second half of the week will feature highs in the mid to upper 80s with plenty of sun and low humidity. Lows at night will fall back into the lower 60s, so it may feel just a little like fall!
Looking ahead to the upcoming weekend, rain chances may inch up just a tad, but there will be enough sunshine both days to get us back into the upper 80s to near 90°.
