Two-story house fire in Gastonia

More than two dozen firefighters working just hours ago to put out a house fire in Gastonia. It broke out around 4 a.m. Saturday morning on Black Oak Drive.

When firefighters got to the scene, they say they saw heavy fire coming from the back of the home. At the time of the blaze, the person living at the home was out of town.

Damages are estimated to cost $150,000.  The Gastonia Fire Department Fire Marshal's Office is investigating the cause of the fire.
