Following a beautiful weekend our chances for showers and thunderstorms go up this week. Temperatures are also forecast to be seasonably hot... generally in the lower 90's.
We did break our string of 90 degree days this past Friday when we only reached 88 degrees. But Monday should once again give us a third day of 90 degree temperatures.
While not everybody will see measurable rain this week... all of us will be facing rain chances in the 30% to 50% range through Saturday.
Right now it looks like Tuesday and Thursday will hold the best chances for thunderstorm chances here in the Charlotte area.
Average high temperature for Charlotte now sits at 89 degrees.
