Some PAWsitive news (sorry - it's too easy) this Friday morning -- Hannah FINALLY met Piper!

16-year-old Matthews teen Hannah Shelton has terrible, debilitating migraines. You might remember a post four months ago about Hannah's intense attempts and fundraising to get a special service dog, trained to alert her when a headache was coming on. (Past post >>

Well, the dog is now hers!

Hannah sent these pictures of her and 7-month-old Piper.

“I was nervous Piper wasn’t going to like me,” Hannah wrote. “But it was the total opposite!"

Piper has been trained since birth at a special facility in Kentucky.

Hannah said it’s like Piper knew she was coming from North Carolina to get her… kind of like how Piper knows when Hannah’s migraines are coming. In just a few days, Piper has alerted Hannah about 20 times already.

Piper is also learning advanced commands, like how to pick up medicine bottles and go get help.

We're happy for you, Hannah. You guys look like you're off to a great start. ?#‎MollysKids
