CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) - It's been a long time sports debate: Is talent better than desire?
I have always agreed that desire wins that battle probably 70 percent of the time. Right now I think we're seeing my thought coming to life in the NBA Finals.
With all that's happened to the Cleveland Cavaliers, losing two of their top players to injury, somehow they have jumped out to a 2-1 lead in the best of seven series against Golden State.
The Warriors clearly have the advantage on the roster, but the Cavs, led by LeBron James and his incredible devotion to win a title for his beloved city, seemingly have emotion, hustle and a bad case of the wants on their side.
At this point, I feel desire is winning the series. Steph Curry and Golden State better figure out a way, or a reason, to match the Cavs intensity if they want to give their beloved city of Oakland the title!
