CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) - A few showers rolled across the WBTV viewing area on Sunday and that helped keep highs a tad lower than the first part of the weekend. As we move into the workweek, a cold front will approach and keep us unsettled on Monday and Tuesday.
There could be a shower or thunderstorm on Monday and the chance only goes up as the front passes on Tuesday. Highs on Monday will be in the mid to upper 80s.
After the cold front passes, it actually won't get colder. In fact, it will just get hotter the second half of the week. Wednesday looks dry with highs in the upper 80s.
Thursday through the weekend, we will likely get hotter and hotter. Highs will be at or above 90 with a chance of afternoon thunderstorms each day.
