You know the old saying "sometimes it's better to be lucky than good." Well sometimes you can be good and lucky at the same time.
Well we all know how good Charlotte native, NBA MVP and Golden State Warriors Point Guard Stephen Curry is.
But last night in game four of the Western Conference Finals in Houston he was just downright lucky. The hard fall he took in the second quarter looked like it might have been season ending especially the way he fell on his arm.
But not only was he not done for the season, he wasn't even done for the game returning in the second half with no signs of injury after clearing all concussion tests.
He scored more points after he returned than he did in the first two quarters, so there was no ill effect.
They ended up losing game four to the Rockets but the Warriors will take the loss of the game and day rather than the loss of their star player.
On to game five tomorrow night back in Oakland where Steph and the Warriors hope to close the deal in front of their home fans to advance to the NBA Finals.
