SALISBURY, NC (WBTV) -

It may be one of the welcome and fun ways to deal with pre-exam stress for college students, and it had a lot of tails wagging.

On Monday and Wednesday of this week there were “therapy dogs” on the campus of Catawba College.

Nan Zimmerman, Director of Counseling and Disabilities Services arranged for the dogs to be on campus at the Stanback Plaza near the lunch and dinner hours so that students could "paws" for a few moments to scratch a head or rub a belly.

Exams for Catawba students continue through Tuesday. Graduation is set for May 16.
