SALISBURY, NC (WBTV) -

The new home for the adoptive father of missing Rowan County teenager Erica Parsons appears to be a prison in Farmville, Virginia.

The Virginia Department of Corrections Offender Search lists Sandy Wade Parsons as Offender #1720326.

Parsons was recently sentenced to eight years in federal prison for financial crimes involving defrauding the federal government by accepting thousands of dollars of federal adoption assistance money long after Erica Parsons disappeared from the home of Sandy and Casey Parsons.

Casey Parsons was sentenced to ten years after pleading guilty to similar charges.

According to the prison's website, Piedmont Regional Jail is a minimum to high-security facility located in Farmville, VA that serves the counties of Amelia, Buckingham, Cumberland, Lunenburg, Nottoway, and Prince Edward.

Casey Parsons is still listed as being at the Forsyth County Jail in Winston-Salem. That jail is often used to hold federal prisoners prior to their reassignment to permanent locations.

Anyone with any information on the disappearance or whereabouts of Erica Parsons is asked to contact the FBI or the Rowan Sheriff's Office at 704-216-8700.
