CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) - High pressure returns today, but since we keep a northerly component to the wind, temperatures remain below average. Despite plenty of sunshine, highs will only manage the mid 40s this afternoon.
It will be clear and cold tonight, with evening readings reaching into the 30s. Overnight lows will drop well back down in the 20s.
The weekend brings a return to seasonable levels, and then some. Saturday and Sunday are expected to have mostly sunny skies with highs near 60 Saturday and mid 60s on Sunday. Enjoy!
Daylight saving time also begins, so don't forget to set your clocks ahead one hour before you go to bed Saturday night as we "Spring Forward."
