Suspect in Mooresville shooting arrested

MOORESVILLE, NC (WBTV) - The man wanted for shooting a Mooresville man in a grocery store parking lot Monday was arrested Wednesday in Hickory.

Tevin Jerome Davis, 22, is accused of shooting 27-year-old Theodore Maurice Ford in the parking lot of a Food Lion on East Plaza Drive. Both men live in Mooresville.

Davis is charged with assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill and shooting into an occupied vehicle.

He was arrested Wednesday by Hickory police and SBI agents.

Davis was taken to Catawba County Jail under a $14,000 bond.

Ford was hospitalized after the shooting.
