An investigation is under after police say someone fired shots into the same home where a 14 year old boy shot and killed an intruder just last week.
The incident happened on Rolling Fields Road near Mint Hill.
Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police say shots were fired through the window of the home this morning.
Homeowner George Wyant says the whole family woke up when they heard two loud bangs and glass breaking.
Wyant says he firmly believes the shooting is in retaliation for what happened last week. In that case, Wyant's grandson and the teen's grandmother were home alone when the break-in happened.
The young man told police he was trying to protect his grandmother, when he shot and killed the intruder. He was not charged in that case.
