Chef Jon Fortes of Mimosa Grill stopped by WBTV News Sunday Morning to share a recipe and the next step in a competition dining series.
Chef Fortes is he Final Fire Series winner in the Charlotte area regional series for the Got to Be NC Competition Dining Series. He is gearing up to compete against five chefs who represent the Wilmington, Greensboro, Raleigh and Asheville areas.
The Final Fire statewide competition takes place in Raleigh Nov. 19-22 and new tickets have been released for some of the events.
