Charlotte Hornets Owner, Michael Jordan, doesn't often speak in front of local media, so when he does a wide range of topics are covered. The main topic Tuesday was excitement surrounding the return of the Charlotte Hornets.
Jordan was all smiles and said making the decision to bring the Hornets back is the best business decision he's ever made.
Since taking majority ownership in 2010 he's learned a lot, especially from the mistakes, and is very proud to see the perspective change about this team from the Charlotte community.
Jordan said the turnover began with head coach Steve Clifford, who returns for his 2nd season in Charlotte. The additions of center Al Jefferson in 2013, and Lance Stephenson in the recent offseason, help make Charlotte a destination city for NBA athletes.
