Get those cameras ready! Rowan Public Library popular "photowalk" coming soon

SALISBURY, NC (WBTV) - Looking for an excuse to take pictures?  Meet new people?  Just get out and walk?  Dust off the camera, lace up your walking shoes, and join us for another round of Fall Photowalks!

Aspiring photographers of all ages and skill levels are invited to join us for one, two, or all three of our Fall Photowalks planned for October:

RPL Headquarters, 201 W. Fisher St., Salisbury

Sat., October 18th, 10:30 am-12:00 pm

We'll start out at the library and take a stroll downtown where we'll end up on Bank Street to visit local artist Clyde's unique residence.  We've been invited to wander around the property and find hidden treasures to capture on camera.

East Branch, 110 Broad St., Rockwell

Tues., October 21st, 5:30 pm-7:00 pm

We'll start out at the library and take a stroll by the old Rockwell Casket Company, check out the feed supply store, and capture a few pumpkins at Variety Produce Market.

South Rowan Regional Library, 620 Kimball Rd., China Grove

Thurs., October 23rd, 5:30-7:00 pm

We'll start out at the library and head across the street to catch a golden sunset over the Lake Corriher Wilderness Area.
