***WEATHER ALERT*** Boy it has been an eventful overnight when it comes to weather. In Mecklenburg, Union and some South Carolina counties including Lancaster County the sky opened up! Union County seems the hardest hit. Here are some reports we're hearing right now:

Union County - Flash flooding at Howie Street between Anne Avenue and Jerry Lane.

Union County - Tree down 9200 Olive Branch Road

#BREAKING NEWS **TRAFFIC ALERT** Three construction workers have been hit while working on I-40 in Burke County. We just got word from the highway patrol the westbound lanes near exit 105 will be closed for at least two more hours. We have Mark Davenport at the scene to get us more details on what happened.
