Spin to win and benefit Prevent Child Abuse Rowan

SALISBURY, NC (WBTV) -

The Forum will be hosting the 4th annual Spin to End event. This annual stationary bike  ride is a fun and healthy way to provide PCAR with the funds that help them pursue their mission.

The event is open to all – regardless of your fitness level. Participants can ride the entire time or for only a short period.

Single entrants may ride for $25 or teams of 1-8 may enter for $100. To register for the event, please contact the Forum at 704-633-6638 or do so online at www.theforumfitness.com.

The event will be held on Saturday, October 4, 2014, at The Forum Fitness Center, located at 2318 S. Main St. in Salisbury. Riding will begin at 8:30 AM and teams will ride until 12:30 PM.

A t-shirt and healthy lunch will be provided to all participants.

Prevent Child Abuse Rowan's mission is to STOP child abuse in Rowan County through education, intervention, and support. To further this mission, PCAR established the Terrie Hess House Child Advocacy Center in 2005 to provide children who have been physically and sexually abused with a non-threatening location where they can receive forensic interview, victim advocacy, medical evaluation, and mental health services.

With your help, PCAR can work to help children who have been traumatized heal and become empowered citizens.
