Police: argument leads to neighbor striking neighbor with Dodge Caravan

SALISBURY, NC (WBTV) - One neighbor is recovering from injuries while another one is facing jail time for using his Dodge as a weapon.

According to a Salisbury Police report, Kevin Madray and George Hunt were involved in an argument outside of Hunt's home on Oakhurst Drive on Monday afternoon around 5:00.

After arguing for a few minutes, Madray got into his gold Dodge Caravan, "floored it," and struck Hunt as he stood in his driveway.

Madray then drove into his own driveway on Imperial Drive, then backed out and left.  Hunt was treated for shoulder injuries.

A short time later police found the minivan parked behind Madray's house.  According to the report the van had damage to the front end, including a broken rearview mirror on the passenger's side.

Madray was charged with assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury.
