Charlotte Walk for the Hydrocephalus Association

Hundreds of walkers are expected to come out for the Hydrocephalus Association's (HA) Charlotte WALK. Since 2009, HA has committed well over $3 million to research making it the largest non-profit, non-governmental founder of hydrocephalus research in the world.

The event will take place at Elizabeth Park in downtown Charlotte, beginning at 10:00am. Early birds will be able to participate in multiple family activities before the Walk. Participants raising $50 or more will receive a HA WALK T-shirt.

This year's HA WALK will include food, a balloon artist, face painting, corn hole and other special activities for kids, with the support of our sponsors and volunteers. There will also be a contest for the best-designed team shirts. Families with hydrocephalus are encouraged to tell their stories in poster format to be displayed on Ambassador Avenue. There is still time to register to participate as a team or an individual walker by visiting or call the HA national office at 888-598-3789 Ext. 12 or via email at
