LIVE: We're on your side with a heads up on a major road closure today. The Department of Transportation is building another diverging diamond interchange from Poplar Tent Road to I-85. It's supposed to make it easier to get on the interstate when it's all said and done. But starting at 9 a.m. there will be significant changes to the traffic pattern. People all over the state are already lining up outside the Charlotte Convention Center right now for the free dental clinic. Dentists are volunteering their time to help people get critical procedures done, they couldn't otherwise afford. We have live reports from Mark Davenport throughout the morning.
Also, the latest on the death of comedian Joan Rivers and the investigation into the clinic performing her routine throat procedure when she stopped breathing.
