School officials: Elementary students injured by bees during recess

CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) -

Ten students at an elementary school had to be treated after school officials say they were stung by bees during recess.

Emergency crews were called to Selwyn Elementary School Thursday morning. This is along the 2800 block of Colony Street.

Crews say they were called to the report of multiple patients having an allergic reaction.

Parents were called to the school to pick the students up.
