HAPPENING TODAY: More details will be released again today in the murder of Maggie Daniels. She's the Discovery High School guidance counselor who was discovered dead in her Newton apartment. The evidence we should get will give some insight into why the district attorney will be seeking the death penalty. WBTV's Mark Davenport will be live with more details.

BREAKING: We're learning of a small plane that crashed in the central part of North Carolina. New information has just come in on injuries and where the plane was flying from.

NEW: Would you be frustrated taking your child to school and it took you over one hour to drive a couple miles? That's what Union County parents are complaining about and they're blaming the controversial school redistricting plan. WBTV's Ashton Pellom is investigating.
