Lenoir man convicted of making meth

A Lenoir man faces more than 3.5 years in prison after he was convicted early this week of making meth.

Timothy Shawn Harrell, 38, was sentenced to serve between 44 and 62 months in prison after a conviction of manufacturing meth.

Harrell was arrested in March 2011 in a home along Alfed Hartley Road, in Lenior, following a tip to law enforcement.

They found a propane tank, drain cleaner, pseudoephedrine and other meth-making materials.
