MEDINA, OH (WOIO) -

On August 26 and 27, the Tunnel to Towers Foundation is bringing their mobile 9/11 exhibit to Medina.

It's the first time the roaming museum will be in Ohio. Organizers said the exhibit is a chance to educate and remind people of what happened in 2001.

"We have a lot of children now, who weren't born yet. And subjected to what's in the history books. The foundation believes the museum is the best way to accomplish that," said Mark Phillips, race director for the Medina Tunnel to Towers 5k.

The 5K race is held in eight cities, including Medina and New York City. Medina's is September 14 at 9 a.m. Visit their website for more information.

The exhibit is open Tuesday from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. and Wednesday from 12-6 p.m., and is located on the corner of West Liberty Street and Elmwood Road in Medina. The admission is free.
