Man killed in Fayetteville home invasion identified

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. -

The Cumberland County Sheriff's Office is investigating a home invasion that left a 23-year-old man dead early Saturday morning.

Investigators were called to a home in the 300 block of Brooklyn Circle at approximately 1:45 a.m.

Authorities found Theodore Horton, a homeless man, shot to death inside the home. None of the residents in the home were injured in the incident.

Horton was identified through fingerprints and tattoos.
