Cavaliers primed to make noise in 2014

WAXHAW, NC (WBTV) - Congrats to Cuthbertson rising junior QB Austin Kendall who Verbally committed to play his college football at Tennessee.

Austin played at Charlotte Christian last season helping the Knights win the NCISAA Division 1 State Championship as he threw for 16 hundred yards and 20 TD's.

Kendall's transfer to Cuthbertson back over the summer has raised expectations for
2nd year head coach David Johnson and his Cavs.

They'll have a solid D with 9 starters back plus some big time play makers on offense to go with Kendall.

But the biggest reason for optimism is familiarity.  Johnson took over a very young team last year during summer workouts giving no time to build chemistry.  That won't be the case in 2014 as the team now has a full year of work under their belts.
