Hello! Christine Nelson here. John Carter and I got a chance to meet with our producers to talk about the day's stories and we went through the show scripts. So I had a quick moment to give you a first look at what's making headlines right now. Make sure to get all the details on WBTV News This Morning from 4:30-9:00 a.m. on WBTV and Bounce TV.
HAPPENING NOW: The search is on for two men who escaped custody in Avery County. This is being called a dangerous situation because officials say the men got away in a police vehicle that had weapons and ammunition inside.
The biological mother of Erica Parson is getting her chance to speak after the Rowan County Sheriff's Office issued a statement about the investigation to find her daughter. What you may not know is Carolyn Parsons says she had a good relationship with Erica's adopted parents, Casey and Sandy Parsons. This morning she identifies what caused that relationship to go south. WBTV's Astrid Martinez will have sound from that interview this morning.
