Father pleading for help in son's unsolved murder

Hello. Did you have a good weekend? I hope so! It's Christine Nelson writing you first thing this morning. Today is Monday, July 21. I want you to have a first look at the stories we're working on for WBTV News This Morning. We're live from 4:30-9:00 a.m. on WBTV and Bounce TV.

The case has gone cold in a murder in Cleveland County. 43-year-old Scott Davis was shot and killed inside a smoke shop last June but officials have yet to make an arrest. This morning the victim's father is speaking to WBTV, saying he wished he could have taken the bullet instead of his son. WBTV's Astrid Martinez will have more from the interview. She'll also have details from the case. Maybe someone will come forward with a new clue.

Tired of paying those extra fees tacked on to your plane tickets? Well you're not going to like what's going to be happening today. The TSA is raising its security fees on every flight you take. WBTV's Mark Davenport is totaling the numbers this morning. He'll let you know how much more you're going to be paying.

Also, more details emerging in the Malaysia Airlines investigation.
