Trooper involved in west Charlotte fender bender

CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) -

A North Carolina Highway Patrolman was involved in a vehicle crash Wednesday morning.

The incident was reported around 9 a.m. on Freedom Drive when a car turned into and hit the trooper.

The trooper was responding to a call.

No injuries were reported.

Charges against the driver of the car are pending.

    A truck crashed into a power pole Sunday afternoon in west Charlotte near a gas station. Officials say the truck crashed into a pole causing another pole to snap on Wilkinson Boulevard. The incident occurred around 12 p.m. near the QuikTrip gas station.
