Strange graffiti shows up in downtown Salisbury

SALISBURY, NC (WBTV) - Strange graffiti has shown up over the last few days in and around downtown Salisbury, and much of it is aimed at city owned buildings.

The markings include the word "promo" painted near the police department, and in other locations.

Other tags appear to be mailing labels from the Post Office with a small picture of a man's face that has been added.

According to the police report, there are at least a dozen such tags on buildings, electrical boxes, light pole bases, and signs.
