North Meck thinking playoffs in 2014

Things are trending up for the North Meck Vikings football program under 3rd year coach Brad Baker.

In his 1st year, they won 2 games and last year doubled that with 4.

Now they're thinking bigger in 2014 with playoffs in the conversation for the first time since 2009.

If they are to make it to post-season play, QB Nolan Beasley will have to be a big factor entering his 3rd year as a starter.

The defense should be strong with 6 starters back including LBs Corey Patton and Trevor Lowery and safety Jordan McCormick.

Despite playing in the tough MECKA 4A Conference with defending 4AA champ Mallard Creek, the Vikings are still very confident.
