CORNELIUS, NC (WBTV) -

A man is being held on a $100,000 bond after police say he robbed a Cornelius pharmacy on Tuesday with a T-shirt pulled over his head.

It happened at the Rite Aid Pharmacy along the 19400-block of West Catawba Avenue in Cornelius around 3:16 p.m.

Police say they didn't have a good description of the man because he blocked his face with his shirt. But officers were able to review surveillance video from the story to see what kind of vehicle the man was driving.

They then looked at town surveillance to get the registration from the car and track down the car owner, 26-year-old Joshua David Lerner.

He was questioned by police an after finding the clothing used during the robbery, Lerner was arrested.

He was charged with one count of robbery with a dangerous weapon. He is currently at the Mecklenburg County Jail on a $100,000 secured bond.
