CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) - Charlotte will look like a sea of pink and green this coming week.
This weekend begins the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority national convention in Charlotte. It runs July 12-18 and will draw more than 11,500 members of the oldest sorority for college-educated African-American women.
Several of the events are open to the public including a Town Hall and Youth Summit.
