Sheriff: Rowan woman out on bond for drug charges caught with meth

SALISBURY, NC (WBTV) - A Rowan County woman on probation for a 2013 drug conviction faces new charges after police say they found crystal methamphetamine in her home. It was her third arrest for crystal meth possession since October.

Police say Jamie Lynne Myers was arrested Monday after a search of her home on Catfish Terrace in eastern Rowan turned up 1.5 grams of crystal meth and digital scales.

Myers was charged with probation violation, possession of methamphetamine, maintaining a dwelling for controlled substances, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

She is on probation after being convicted of possessing 14 grams of crystal meth in 2013. Police arrested Myers on October 31 at her prior address on Montgomery Ave. in Salisbury.

At the time of her arrest Monday, Myers was out on bond after being charged by the Mooresville police on July 2 for possessing approximately 15 grams of meth.

Myers was held under a $25,000.00 bond for the probation violation and $50,000.00 bond for the drug charges.
