Taking a stand against domestic violence

Posted: Updated:

Sororities and Fraternities are taking a stand against domestic violence.

This is in direct response to the Bianca Tanner murder case. Sources say her boyfriend Angelo Grayson Smith Jr. admitted to killing the elementary school teacher.

Smith's Kappa Alpha Psi fraternity brother helped break the case.

The North Carolina A and T Greek Alumni started the campaign, and is holding a memorial event next week in Charlotte's Marshall Park to remember Tanner.

Meantime the Domestic violence advocacy council here in Mecklenburg county will hold a march downtown in Tanner's memory also next week.
