TS Arthur strengthening

Hi everyone, this is Paul Cameron in the WBTV Newsroom. Angelo Smith, Jr.-- the man who police say was the last to see his girlfriend alive-- bonded out of jail tonight. Smith is a person of interest in the case of missing teacher Bianca Tanner who hasn't been seen in more than three weeks. A judge reduced Smith's bail today from $100,000 to $20,000.

A very sad story from Stanly County-- a 26-year old man and 16-year old girl were both found shot to death. Officials say it was a murder-suicide. Reporter David Spunt is investigating the mystery of the motive behind the deaths.

Tropical Storm Arthur could be a hurricane by morning. Right now, forecasters are concerned Arthur's rain bands could soak eastern North Carolina with inches of rain as it passes up the coast. Forced evacuations have already begun in parts of the Outer Banks and Eric Thomas will have the latest tracking and strength data all new at 11:00.
