Inappropriate photos of teen girls

Hi everyone, this is Paul Cameron in the WBTV Newsroom. Our reporter David Spunt has an exclusive story about a former CMPD Officer who will plead guilty tomorrow to taking inappropriate photos of High School aged girls. The officer was the internship coordinator at the police training academy, overseeing hundreds of kids involved in youth programs. 

A rescue tonight at South Mountain in Burke County saves a 17-year old girl who had fallen over the falls. We're just getting more information about the operation and the condition of the teenager.

Sex charges against 86-year old Father Michael Kelleher were dropped. A judge says the former Catholic priest is too old and too ill to stand trial. One of Kelleher's accusers sent us a note tonight, saying, he stands alone, devastated by recent court decisions preventing him from presenting indisputable facts so as to allow justice to prevail.

Eric Thomas has his scope set on Tropical Storm Arthur as it glides up the Florida coastline. Predictions are it will become a hurricane with winds upwards of 80 mph by the time it reaches the waters of the Carolinas. He'll have the latest tracking data at 11:00.

The Charlotte blogger known as "Food Babe" has turned her attention on beer companies. She wants to know what brewers are putting in their products. I personally stand by Benjamin Franklin's famous quote-- "In wine there is wisdom, in beer there is Freedom, in water there is bacteria."
