BOSTON (POOL/CNN) – The two brothers convicted of trying to scam $2 million from the Boston Marathon bombing victim's fund are heading to prison.

Branden Mattier, 23, and Dominique Grice, 28, were sentenced to three years in prison and three years of probation on Monday.

There were convicted of larceny and attempted larceny earlier this month for using the name of a dead relative to try and steal money from The One Fund.

The fund was started to help victims of the 2013 twin bombings at the marathon.

For their probation, they will have to volunteer to help bombing victims.

The judge in the case said neither brother expressed remorse in court about the potential impact of their crime.
