Troopers said a pedestrian died after being struck by a BMW Friday night in Clover.
According to troopers with the South Carolina Highway Patrol, the pedestrian was hit just after 9:40 p.m. on Highway 321 north of the City of Clover.
SCHP said 35-year-old Sandy Mason of Gastonia was driving south on Highway 321 when the pedestrian crossed the highway in front of him.
Troopers said the pedestrian was pronounced deceased on the scene.
Mason was wearing a seatbelt, SCHP said.
No charges are being filed at this time.
